Style Guide
Navigation
The navigation bar at the top of the page for my site will allow people to access the most important pages of my site. Since this site is ment to allow people to view a portfollio of some of my work as a progress in the advertising field. It will also allow people to view a resume. Their will also be a search bar at the top right of the page. In the footer thier will be information important to the site. This will include copywright, contact, planning, and a style guide. Also, the picture or logo in the upper left hand corner will direct people to the home page.
Typography
The typography for my web page will be the default settings. I choose to do the default settings to allow ease of use. I also choose this so it will be uniform among users.
Color
The colors for my web page are as follows:
- Header background: Grey
- Content background: Grey
- Margins: Olive
- Links: Default
Logos
For now the logo which can be found in the upper left hand corner and below.
Graphics
All graphics will be available through links to another page. This will either have a discription in the link, have a thumbnail, or both. This will happen so viewers will not have to wait for pages to load and to take up less space.
Content
The content of the page will have a padding of .5cm on both the left and the right. I also have the content taking up 80% of the screen with 10% margins on both sides.
Best Practices
The following practices will be implemented:
- Use default browser settings.
- Minimize pictures.
- Give short descriptions for links
